Plieades has been at the center of efforts to revive the historic "Mosquito Fleet" in South Puget Sound. These efforts have focused on bringing Sail Transported goods and produce from the Olympia Farmers Market to outlying South Sound communities like Boston Harbor, Longbranch, and others. Our dedication to using wind as a sustainable, free, clean method of transporting cargo throughout the Salish Sea and Western Washington has provided us with a way forward to building the community ties of the old Mosquito Fleet.

We have many guests who prefer to combine thier charter with the adventure of participating in "working sail" as we conduct deliveries of cargo and produce. If you are interested in participating in our "Mosquito Fleet" activities please contact us.
